Money Management Advisor
Fixed term – 2 years
Full time – 35 hours per week
Salary - £22,000 plus car allowance
Tamar Housing is looking to appoint a full time Money Management Advisor who will provide effective advice and support to our existing and new residents.
Tamar works in partnership with Rentplus and the successful applicant will give advice on debts, welfare benefits and support residents into home ownership. In addition they will provide budgeting advice and carry out financial assessments.
This is a new post within the organisation and you will be working in the Housing Management Team. This is a fixed term contract for 2 years. We are looking for someone who is experienced and proficient in dealing with a wide range of people. You must have knowledge of welfare benefits, debt advice and/or mortgages. Ideally you will have worked in similar role such as a debt and welfare benefits advisor, support worker or mortgage advisor but this is not essential.
