Accounts Assistant (Income and Expenditure Officer)

Location: Rooksbridge or Plymouth, flexibility to work both at the office and from home

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week

Salary: £23,171 - £27,260 dependent on experience and qualifications

Duration: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Income and Expenditure Officer to join our busy, service orientated, Finance team.  This role will be working alongside an existing Income and Expenditure Officer.  Based in either our Rooksbridge or Plymouth office, you will have the option to work from both home and the office, under our Agile working policy, subject to business needs.

The main responsibilities of this role will be the operation and management of the Partnership’s bought ledger/purchase ledger, sales ledger and rent ledger functions, under the direction of the Finance Manager (Accounting and Controls). This role requires excellent time management, self-motivation and problem solving abilities, it would ideally suit a performance-focused individual who is currently working in either a purchase ledger or sales ledger role, and who is actively studying or has completed, AAT qualifications.
