Tamar is committed to raising awareness of domestic abuse and providing a victim centred, confidential and caring response to any reports of domestic abuse. We will always consider reports of domestic abuse as serious incidents and treat them as such. If you are suffering from domestic abuse please give us a call on 01752 250902, if you feel in danger or threatened then please call 999.
We treat all reports in confidence and will take no action without your permission, unless the report involves children, or we perceive an immediate threat to your personal safety; in which case we have a duty of care to pass on information.
Tamar has signed up to the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Make-a-Stand Pledge which aims to raise the profile of, and tackle, Domestic Abuse.
Tamar has clear policies and procedures on domestic abuse. We have also appointed a Domestic Abuse Champion to help support any residents who may be experiencing abuse.
